Operation: Orange Fury.

Six days, one HTML file, #39 on the leaderboard at Pieter Levels' Vibe Jam 2026 — built at night while contracting full-time during the day.

Game jams are honest: nobody cares about your architecture diagram, only whether people actually play the thing. Orange Fury finished #39 with a 5-minute median playtime and 288+ plays — numbers that mean players came back for another run instead of bouncing.

The constraint as the feature

The whole game is one self-contained 9.7 MB HTML file: 31 PNGs base64-inlined, all logic in vanilla JavaScript, zero dependencies, zero build step. It installs as a PWA and runs offline. There's something clarifying about shipping a complete product as a single file — every byte argues for its existence.

Why a game is on a business portfolio

Because range is the point. The same engineer who ships CRM-integrated voice pipelines can ship something people play for fun under a six-day deadline — different domain, same habit of finishing. Play it yourself; it's free and loads in seconds.
